Bybit Card is a Mastercard debit card that enables easy and secure access to funds for spending on the go, allowing users to maximize and integrate cryptocurrencies into daily life and make purchases with earnings from their trading products.
With a Virtual Bybit Card, you can make online payments once you have applied successfully. When using the Physical Bybit Card, you can make online and in-store payments that support contactless and Chip and PIN.

Application Requirement
Before applying for a Bybit card, please ensure that the following conditions are met:
- Your Bybit account has an email address associated with it
- Your Bybit account has an associated mobile number
- Set up Google Two-Factor Authentication
- Complete Identity Verification Lv. 1: Proof of Identity has to be a Passport/National ID.
- Complete Identity Verification Lv. 2: Proof of Address has to be from the United Kingdom or eligible countries from the European Economic Area (EEA).
Bybit reserves the final decision to decline any applications upon internal evaluation of risk at Bybit's discretion.
Note: Bybit Card has more stringent requirements for Identity Verification. Hence, you may be requested to update your Identity Verification even though you have already completed it previously.
Identity Verification Lv. 1: Please note that only a Passport or Identity Card is accepted. If you have used other documents such as Driving License or Resident Permit, you will be requested to update your Identity Verification Lv. 1 with your Passport or Identity Card.
Identity Verification Lv. 2: Please note that we only accept Proof of Address that is within three (3) months of the date of issue and within UK or eligible EEA countries .
Here's a step-by-step guide to applying for your Bybit Card. Via Desktop
Step 1: Go to Finance → Bybit Card to enter the Bybit Card application page, and click on Go Apply.
Step 2: Complete the required application requirements. Please note that all requirements have to be completed before you can proceed.
Step 3: Please make sure all your information is correct and click on Next.
Step 4: Complete your security settings. Select your security questions and enter your answers to each. Please remember your answers, as you may be asked to authenticate with these security answers when making payments online.
Step 5: View Your Application Status
When you have successfully submitted your application, you will see that your application is under review. Please note that it may take up to 7 working days for the Bybit Card team to review your application.
Once your application is approved, you will be able to see your Bybit Card dashboard and you will receive an email informing you that your application was successful. You can manage your card on the card management page.

Step 1: Please click on More -> ByCard on the home page to enter the Card Application page.
Step 2: Click on Apply.

Step 4: Please make sure all your information is correct and click on Next.
Step 5: Complete your security settings. Select your security questions and enter your answers to each. Please remember your answers, as you may be asked to authenticate with these security answers when making payments online.
Step 6: View Your Application Status

To be eligible for a physical card, you must first obtain a virtual card (How to Get Started with Bybit Card) and complete the application process.
Step 1: Click on Finance → Bybit Card at the top left corner of the navigation bar to enter the Card Dashboard page.
Step 2: Click on the Bybit Card Application banner to kick off the physical Bybit Card application.
Step 3: Edit the display name on your card.
Note: The display name can only contain up to 21 Latin characters and spaces.
Step 4: Edit your shipping address. You may only edit your address if the address is displayed incorrectly and is different from the address in your Identity Verification Lv.2's Proof of Address.
Note: Bybit reserves the right to reject any application if the edited address is inconsistent with your Identity Verification Lv.2's Proof of Address. We currently do not support submitting additional proof of address to change the shipping address.
Step 5: Set and verify your PIN. The PIN will be used for ATM transactions and to make large purchases at retail merchants. You can still reset the PIN after activating the card. However, please keep your PIN securely and privately.
Step 6: Click on Apply if you have confirmed the details. Your change of address will be under review and you will be informed of the outcome. The review results will be sent through email.
Step 7a: Once your address review is approved, you may go back to the application page and click on Apply where you will be prompted to pay for the card issuance fee.
The issuance fee for the physical Bybit Card is 5 EUR/GBP/USDT. The payment is deducted directly from the EUR/GBP balance or USDT balance of your Funding Account. Choose your desired payment method and click on Pay. Email and 2FA verification would be required while making the payment.
Step 7b: If your application is rejected, you will be able to edit the address and resubmit the application.
Step 8: Once the payment is complete, you will see a pop-up saying that your application was successful. You may click the View Status button to be redirected to the Card Management page where you can track the progress of your physical Bybit Card.
Note: The card delivery might take up to 30 days to arrive. Please refer this FAQ if you did not receive it for more than 30 days.
Activation
For Virtual Bybit Card
Your Virtual Bybit Card will be automatically activated upon successful application — unlocking immediate access to online and overseas transactions.
Note: Overseas payments do not require additional activation of your Bybit Card. However, a foreign exchange fee will be charged. For more information, please refer to Fees and Spending Limits (Bybit Card).
Once you receive your physical card, please activate your card before starting to use it.
Step 1: Go to Finance → Bybit Card and click on Manage My Card to enter the Card Management page.
Step 2: Click on Activate to begin the activation process.
Step 3: Complete the security verification:
- Email Verification: Click on Send Verification Code. An email containing the email verification code will be sent to your Bybit registered email address. Please enter the 6-digit email verification code.
- Google 2FA Verification: Please enter the 6-digit Google 2FA code you've obtained from your Google Authenticator. Then, click on Confirm.
